The New Economy Academy (NEA) is an institution operating under the management of the Department of International Trade Promotion, Ministry of Commerce. Its primary mission is to develop Thai entrepreneurs to effectively engage in business development on a global scale as well as to create business leaders who will help drive the local economy forward.
The most crucial resource of a country is its human capital. Accordingly, survival in modern time does not solely depend on the size of the business or available resources, but rather on the ability to adapt swiftly to ever-changing circumstances.
With the rapidly advancing global stage in mind, to strengthen the Thai economy while confidently managing incoming challenges entrepreneurs must be equipped with knowledge, dedication, as well as up-to-date technology. Furthermore, a strong and fruitful collaboration between business owners and the government is especially important.
Hence, NEA continues to organize capacity-building activities that incorporate both offline and online courses called E-Academy. This aims to enable entrepreneurs to access necessary knowledge anytime and anywhere, without any cost.
NEA’s vision is to be a leading organization in the public sector that develops entrepreneurs’ capabilities in order to successfully compete in the new era of trade.
Our mission is to develop business knowledge in the ever-evolving era of trade and to disseminate insights to entrepreneurs across the country. We aim to ensure that our database of information follows international standards, while consistently elevating the quality of service. NEA’s goal is to provide excellent opportunities for entrepreneurs to engage in international trade at their fullest potential.
We strive to elevate the public sector’s services through our “Sharing Economy” policy, with an aim to provide comprehensive access to international trade knowledge throughout the country by leveraging on the expertise of the nation’s most seasoned individuals. This will be offered through both offline (ie. On-site seminars) and online (ie. E-Academy) channels. By allowing opportunities in the realm of international trades (from local to global) among all industries, we align with the government’s policy to develop a prosperous economy in Thailand.
Our aim is to develop Thai entrepreneurs to effectively engage in business development on a global scale through targeted training programs that focus on four aspects of the modern day trade, enabling entrepreneurs to thrive in the digital economy.
